Is it possible to create a link in CR. I Would like each link to open a different pdf file.

Oracle 9i and CR vesion 10.0
Thanks

Sure, right click the field or formula and select format field->Hyperlink->Current Website Field Value (I only have CR XI here but I think it's the same).

Hi teferi2002,

Yes it is - you can turn fields and objects into hyperlinks by right clicking on the field - choosing Format Field - then go to the Hyperlink Tab - this allows you to choose between hyperlinking to:
A Website of the Internet
An Email Address
A File ******* This is the one you use for PDF *******
A value
Another Report

etc

Thank you all paulmarr and k for the response.I try to use the method you suggested before i post my question on this forum but it did not do what i wanted. Here is the thing, I have a report which looks like this GH1 Detal, GH1 Detail,GH1 Details......I wanted each detail to be linked to a different pdf files like the first detil to pdf1, second detail to pdf2 and so on....I wonder if this is doable in CR.
Again thank you all for the help I get

If the field contains a link to the file you want then it will work.

Try posting technical information instead of descriptions.

For instance, what's in the field...

In general one line posts don't get much of my time. If you won't bother to take the time to SHOW what you have, I'm not going to waste much of mine guessing ;)

Hi Teferi,

On the same tab we are talking about - there is an X+2 button that allows you to dynamically change the hyperlink to a value in the database or you could construct a formula that will change the hyperlink - for example - naming your pdf documents with the same value as a field....
you get what I mean? (I hope)
Cheers
