Create a group and sort on a "sum of @...." field 1

I would like to create a group and sort it by a "sum of @..." field. When I go into insert group, the "sum of @..." doesn't show. Do I need to create a formula to reference the "sum of @..." field?

Summary fields (sums, minimums etc.) are close to the last if not the last thing crystal does when it prints a report. The groupings are created then the summation of the groups occur.

You could do a Top/Bottom N or sort by the sums, but not group.
