Create a formula for Patient out of OR to Next Patient In OR

HELP! I need a formula that will show me the difference between case a (coming out of the OR) and case b (going into the OR) which is the next case. I have tried DateDiff ("n",DateTime(CDate"),{@Start}),DateTime(CDate {@end}) Any help will be appreciated

 
It's not clear what you're asking for. You can have DateDiff as part of a formula field with IF... ELSE tests.
