Create a .exe from flash

Can one create a self executing (.exe) file from a .fla or must one use a thrird party software. In otherwords a file that does not need the flash plugin to run.. I can not remember how this is done.

Just remebered... create it from by opening the .swf in the stand alone and choosing file create/projector.

Or while in authoring (the .fla), under File->Publish Settings, select the Windows or Mac projector and publish your .exes from there.
