I would like to create a content rules for clients stop download certain files. JPGs etc. But I am unable to succeed, I have managed to block certain access to websites but not the downloading of exe files etc. Does anybody know how this is done?

This only works when downloading the files through a web browser.

In ISA Manager, under Policy Elements - Content Groups - create a new content group. Select the file extensions (*.xxx) that you want to block. You can add custom ones or use predefined extensions.

Next, you need to create a rule under Access Policy - Site and Content Rules. Create a new rule - name it - deny - custom - select your destinations (all destinations is usually fine) - select your schedule (always is the default) - select your authentication (you can have anonymous, per user or group, or by client address sets) - select "only the following content types" and pick the ones you want (the content group you created earlier should show in this list).
