Create a Blog (in DW)...???

probably a dumb question...but:

how does one create a blog on their website...one that can be posted to by visitors to the site...???

is this something that can be coded from scratch...or does it require the participation of the web provider...???

It requires the participation of the Web provider in as far as it supports some type of server side programming language, and probably some type of storage media such as a database to store the visitor posts.

However, A blog is not technically aimed at visitor posting, but rather at owner posting, perhaps what you want is a comment system, so visitors can post there small views and comments rather than blog articles.

It is fairly easy to integrate Wordpress into a Dreamweaver site if you are looking for a blog type system vs. a forum type system. For a social type forum there is Buddypress.
