CRE 8 login issues

I have setup a report that users a odbc connection to a access database on another server. when running the crystal report localy using the odbc connection, it returns data fine. When i upload the report to enterprise it asks users for a username and password. I tried every combination you could think of to get it to run but no luck. The CRE server has complete access to the mapped drive on the other server where the access mdb file exists. I always thought if I can run in in crystal before i upload the file to enterprise it should work...

any ideas on this???

Don't use explicit drive mapping, use the UNC, as in:

\\machine\path....

not:

<drive letter>\path
