crdb_oracle.dll will not laod

Using CR 10 on Oracle 7.

When we try to connect to Oracle , the oracle folder is not listed in the Other data Sources list.

When we try to run a report already developed against report we get error message that crdb_oracle.dll will not load.

Can connect to database using OLE DB.

TNS names are all OK

Any suggestions

Hi,
If you switch the connection on the report that does not run to OLE DB, does it then run OK?
Does it also connect to Oracle v7? ( very old and unsupported, so an upgrade is really needed)..

What Client version of Oracle? 9.2 will not connect to a Version 7 database, for instance..

Was Oracle installed after Crystal?

Install the Oracle client, then Crystal.

It may have even been a custom install in which they didn't install the Oracle services. Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add Rwemove Programs and under Data Access verify that the Oracle is properly installed.

Perhaps you'll need to uninstall and reinstall.
