CRC erros

The NIC in one of the servers is giving me several thousands of CRC errors. Does that mean that I have bad nic in my server?

Please help!

First, try replacing the patch cable. If necessary, swap cables and network ports around to see if the problem moves with the cable as well. -----------------------------------------------------

I've tried that and still the same errors. I have about 111 million CRC erros on that nic.

If swapping cables etc... has not resolved the issue, your assumption of a dodgy NIC could be correct. You could swap the NIC and see if the problem resolves itself? -----------------------------------------------------
