After using my laptop for internet browsing and music listening etc. for a few hours, I keep getting these weird bugs, mainly to do with Explorer. Things like Task Manager just not opening (a beep instead) or opening but with half of the buttons missing, Explorer opening without any buttons or toolbars at all, Internet Explorer tabs insta-closing when I opened them, being unable to right-click on anything, some programs not closing, Explorer left-hand pane disappearing and back/forward buttons not working, etc.
A restart always fixes it but then it starts happening again after a couple of hours. I did upgrade my RAM about a month ago - is it possible that my RAM is bad? I did run Memtest when I installed them originally and it came up clean but I don't know if there's a more detailed analysis in its options that I didn't do. If it isn't bad RAM then what on Earth could it be? I suppose it might be a dodgy program but I haven't installed anything since reinstalling Windows in June that I didn't have installed before. :/
I have SP3, all updates, no viruses and no spyware either according to AVG and Ad-Aware. Any ideas?
