crazy question

3 phones with x6911 on key 1 of each set. call comes in to x6911 user answers, has conversation, hangs up the reciever and the phone rings again once or twice--they see their CID x6911 on the display then it stops ringing...

Anyone ever heard of this? I can't recreate when I go to the location but they swear it is happening when I am not there.

Maybe they are hitting the sauce....

Mystery solved. The calls are being placed from the Freight elevator phones which I have programmed as hotline phones to ring security when lifted. The delivery guys are slamming the phone in the cradle so hard that it bounces up breaking dialtone again and ringing them back once before it rests back in the cradle.

I had a similar issue once only it was an Emergency phone in the elevator and it was calling 911.
