cratating different saveset from different group with the same client

Hi...

How can client be member of two or more groups and there parameters are different is every group.
For example in one group a want to create daily backup of some files from Monday to Friday in one pool,
but then at Saturday a want full backup of that client to another pool, offcourse in a different group.
I assume that this is possible and that I need only one licence for that client........ or am I wrong.

You can create two occurences of the same client, with differents parameters (but the same name), and put these two clients in two groups (GROUP1 and GROUP2); GROUP1 goes in POOL1 and GROUP2 in POOL2
This will cost only 1 client licence of course...

Please remember that the major purpose of the savegroup is
to specify nothing else but the start time of the backup.
You usually get confused when you see the Windows Admin GUI
because it seems that a client "belongs" to a group. However
this is just a matter of visualization.

If you have NW 7.0, you may add and see a "comment" field
which helps you in recognizing the clients easily.
