Hiya, one of our external users has a NT workstation that has become corrupted (Cannot find various files on startup) Unfortunately the user doesn't have an Emergency repair disk, I've tried repairing from the NT CD (No luck - doesn't 'see' the install of NT) Any ideas how to run a repair without a ERD? I've taken a clone of the disk so am willing to try anything..

If you can mount drive as slave in another machine you could try running chkdsk on it (or if 2k/XP install disk available, load recovery console - works with NT installs - and try chkdsk there). In both situations you could try replacing the 'various files' if you know what they are - though problems like this are usually corrupted filestore (needs chkdsk) or hardware.
