crash while playing MOV files from KODAK C643

Quicktime (v6.xx and v7.xx) crashes when playing MOV-files recorded with a KODAK C643.
The cash moment is fluctuating, sometimes first the display looks like unable to follow an resumes correct after a second or 2.
Test on Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Contacted Kodak for this problem, but the call desk has no solution, and a technician is hard to impossible to get at the phone (the call back but not at a moment I'm near a PC).
