Running Windows 2K Service Pack 4 on an IBM Thinkpad. I Hibernate the system. When I start back up the system - about 50% of the time I get a Physical Core dump and have to do a reboot and delete the Restoration File before continuing. Any ideas -

Thanks much

Pete B.

There are a lot of APM only thinkpads.

See the IBM support site. They implemented on many Thinkpads there own version of hiberfil.sys, and their own access to it.

You might even need a BIOS upgrade. The site should have all the drivers you need, including for APM or ACPI as appropriate.
