over the past few months i have found that when doing anything on my computer that consists of sound, that i get a crackly noise aswell as the sound coming through my speakers and its getting really irritating.

does anyone know how to solve this problem?

cheers

Really would need a lot more details about you system to say what the problem could be....Are the speakers shielded? If you wiggle the jack that connects the speakers to the computer,
does that make the same sound? Do you have the latest drivers installed? It also might be dirty power source or interference from some other machinery or appliance... If you're going through Hell...keep going... (Winston Churchill)

Sometimes it is the speakers and the adjusting knobs on the speakers that cause this static. Usually it is the volume/on/off control that makes the static. Cheap replacement speakers sometimes make the problem go away. I had some old speakers from an IBM Aptiva A-40 that were horrible about this. You can probably get fairly good pair of speakers for around $20.00. If you do not like my post feel free to point out your opinion or my errors.
