Hi there!
We have a problem with crackling noise at phones.
There is pretty old system (SX-200) in building. One month ago customers started to claim that they hear a crackling noise. What may cause this issue?
On the other end, speaker doesn't hear any noise.
System is grounded properly.

Hi, I to have received 2 complaints. The first one was a while back so i switched out her phone, and wired her to a new jack. Everything seemed fine and then this week she started to complain about it again.

Received a trouble ticket from another employee, same situation. I thought maybe the DNIC was going but both sets live on different cards.

Kinda confused myself.

connect a butt set to the 48 volt rail. Is it noisey? Replace power supply if it is.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Nytalkin, how to connect battery to BAY SX-200? As far as I understand there is only Power supply card. Furthermore we have the same problem on all bays. Do you recommend to test all of them?

I thought you had an O L D SX200; multiple bays in a single cabinet. Could be most anything. Noise is usually generated from faulty power or ground. I've seen single line cards creating noise through a system too. Good luck.
