Hi Everyone
Please can you assist. I am trying to get control of a system we have onboard our Yacht after a disagreement with the company that it installed it some 9 years ago. I have found all of the software online and installed it ( and I can connect using the serial cable and the bpinspect tool but cannot get the BMS server to connect so that I can regain control of our system.
1.) I have no passwords so will I even be able to get into the system without these?
2.) How do i verify what BMS software is correct for my BP250? I am assuming the latest software version will work with all hardware versions?
3.) Is there a way to transfer a config file from bpinspect to the BMS server to load the correct configuration? I cannot get the serial connection to connect.
4.) My systems serial number ends in R4A. Is this the version number?
5.) By all accounts it seems as though licensing is now offered free for this software. I am yet to try the license key but shall do so now and see if this helps (install as standard key I am assuming).
Apologies in advance if I sound like a newbie but I have substantial knowledge with Panasonic PBX systems and only now getting in touch with my vintage Ericsson/Aastra side!!
All the Best
