I am in search of documentation of the .NET namespaces that relate the CR9 RAS product. Crystal Tech Support has been completly usless. They refer me to the COM documentation that is included and I can't seem to help them understant that COM and .NET are not related.
Specifically I am trying to undersand how to make my application connet to the RAS and use it for rendering reports. I currently have code that will render reports but it does not use RAS so reports are completly regenerated between pages etc. I am also at a loss on how to tell the appliation which server is hosting the RAS. Critical since Crystal them selves tell you you can only install the RAS on one server but multiple servers can point to it for report rendering. I have been unable to figure out how to tell the app where to look for RAS and when I attempt to install the RAS sever on the development box it would shut its self down if the service was running on the production box.
RAS is virtually undocumented my Crystal unless you are still doing COM or JAVA programing. They have provided the .NET Namspaces/dlls but no documentation on their api.
