Apparently my CR9 doesn't recognize that I have enabled and started Microsoft IIS. Therefore it is not offering me the option to save reports to enterprise folders. It is working fine for another user.

I'm running WinXP Professional. I installed CR9 Pro before I installed IIS. Next I installed CE9 RAS. Then I installed and started IIS. Since then I re-ran the install for CR9 Pro and selected to install all options. I rebooted PC, but still not offering choice to save enterprise file.

With such little information, can anyone guess what I'm doing wrong? Thank you in advance!

I found this out from Crystal Decisions:

"The build version of Crystal Reports 9 that
includes the functionality to save to Crystal
Enterprise folders begin with 9.2.2.xxx. For
example, build versions 9.2.2.634 and 9.2.2.693
include this functionality.

Any Crystal Reports 9 build versions that begin
with 9.2.0.xxx (if you have the original build) and
9.2.3.xxx (if you have applied the latest Crystal
Reports hot fixes) does not have the functionality
to save to Crystal Enterprise folders or 'Save to
APS' feature."

MColeman,
Thanks for the post - that got me headed on the right track. With a little more exploring, I found some more info-I'll post here for others that might have the same problem.

Apparently you need to use the CR9 Update CD if you are using CR9 9.2.0.xxx thru 9.2.3.xxx, then you need to install the Crystal Reports Upgrade Installation CD, even if you're current on all the hot fixes. Actually my funtionality worked UNTIL I applied the hot fixes. Reference tech support document: c2013699

You need to reinstall using the upgrade CD, then re-apply the hot fixes to get through the problem. Also applies to CE9, but they don't give the version #'s affected.

I called the new tech support line @ (800)877-2340 and the rep said she is emailing me a link to d/l the upgrade CD...

Good Luck
