Hi,
I have a line chart the plots date on the x-axis with a count of values up the y-axis for several applications (series per application). The user would like to only have points on the chart and no lines connecting them.

I have tried the scatter chart but that doesn't seem to work for this type of chart. Has anyone managed to remove the joining lines ?
Thanks.

The only way to do this (that I know of) is to select the marker, right click and go to Chart Options, Selected Item.

Note that the Fill represents the color of the connecting lines.

Change the marker's Line to a color.

Exit this and select the connecting line, right click and go to Chart Options, Selected Item.

Note that you cannot change the Fill of the connecting line.
Change the connecting line's color to Transparent.

Now you will have the marker in outline (no fill) and no connecting lines.

Thanks for that. This works fine but is a bit tricky to implement against 100 lines! If only Crystal had allowed the line as an option.

Anyway, it does the job which is the main thing.
Thanks again!
