In CR9 under the dropdown menu Database > Set Datasource Location I get an error and CR9 closes. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Also in CR9, is there a way for a report to read an ini file for its header. I have a report that is used by several departments. Each wants its own name in the header. Instead of designing multiple reports, the report would read an ini file and populate the header.

Thanks for any help...

You could also use a parameter to ask the user the department name, then use this in a formula to show the correct title.

@Title
If {?Dept} = "Accounts" then
"Accounts Report"
else if {?Dept} = "Purchasing" then
"Purchasing Report
Else if etc ...
