I would like to limit my dataset by using distinct on a couple of columns, all I can see in crystal is the "select distinct records" option under the database menu. I can't simply suppress them using formula as I am using a chart and the numbers would not match.

Is there any way I can do this in crystal? I would rather not create a stored procedure if I can make a simple change somewhere.

thanks in advance.

Select distinct records will issue a Distinct after the SELECT statement, which means that you will not get duplicates.

A distinct in SQL doesn't work on a couple of columns, and the statement itself is ambiguous since you then state that you need those columns for a chart to match results.

Try posting technical information when requesting it:
