CR2008- Report will not print, get CRW32.exe error 1

I have seen and applied a lot of fixes found here and elsewhere, but my problem continues.
If I open a report in CR2008, select Page Setup, I get a message box saying "Out of Memory".
If I try to print a report in CR2008, I get a CRW32.exe error, (that I always send to MS), and then CR is closed.
Others in my office can print my report without any problems.
Any idea?

 
Hi,
Try a repair install or, if that fails, an uninstall/reinstall - it appears that some parts of the install failed or there is some conflict with other DLLs - Was this a 'clean' install or an upgrade from an earlier version? Is there more then one version installed?

Initially a clean install, and it had the problem. Since then I have un-installed and re-install several times. This is the first version of CR that I have ever had on this machine. Others in my group are having no problems at all and we all have the same basic software installed by our tech team. I even removed File Maker Pro because others in my group do not have this software, but it made no difference. Thanks for the post.

OK, one more idea -
Are you launching CR from a desktop shortcut ( created by the install)?

Check the properties and make sure it is starting from the same directory as the CRW32.exe file.

Problem Solved!! Don't know why, but after I installed MS Visual Studio 2008, my crystal report will now print. I am happy.
(FYI: I was running CR from the Start/Programs, thanks for the tips.)
