CR XI Windows 2000 Pro

Hi All

I installed CR XI Enterprise and XI Developer on my W2K Pro machine. I am able to run reports fine through Developer but when publishing them to Enterprise, I get a "Failed to open the connection: Report Name" error.
I created the connections through Designer, and not sure what else needs to be done...I have 1.5 days experience with Enterprise.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Did I miss a step? Do I have to create the Business View for this to work? I tried doing research but all foreign to me
