CR XI - Trying to use Crytal Delivery 3rd Pty VIEWER

I'm receiving an error when I try to VIEW or PRINT and nothing seems to be working.

The error is:

Logon Failed Database Vendor Code: 18456

ANY IDEAS????

I suggest you contact your vendor, I doubt that this isa Crystal Reports error, it's their code.

By chance I was looking at this yesterday and had the same problem.

I managed to get mine working by going into Crystal Report Settings for the report within Crystal Delivery. Its down to Crystal Delivery not getting your database password from the report for some reason.

Opening the report settings editor, which on my version is the middle icon of three in the top right corner and looks liek a sheet of paper.

Then inserting the following inbetween the userid and useDSNproperties which Crystal Delivery has already picked up from the report;

;Password=yourpasswordhere;

Thanks, I'll give this a try.

Also, for some reason, my "options" on the export screen look different than what the HELP text in CR Delivery looks like.

Is there only ONE version of CR Delivery? I wonder if I have the complete download? Oh well, I'll keep checking into it.

Hi,

I there are several versions I'm using 6.0.1 and am quite impressed with it, especially with it being freeware.
