I have a VB6 application that contains a few CR9 reports. RDC is used to execute and view the reports from within my application.

I need one of the new features (exporting to editable rtf) that version XI offers. I would like to upgrade to XI but Business Objects support said that XI was not tested nor is it supported on Win98. Many of our customers still use Win98.

I understand that the CR Developer software requires 2000 or XP but all I need is to include the CR report inside my application. What are other people doing? Telling their customers that in order to upgrade to their newest version they must run 2000 or XP? For us it is too early to eliminate our application from running on Win98.

Starting with version 9, Crystal Reports require UNICODE support, which is not standard with Win 95/98... You can make it work, but the time you may spend fighting it can be prohibitive...
