CR XI - refresh problem !

Hi All,

Somewhat new to CR XI, but I have several reports running on a scheduled basis that email report results to users.

My issue is:
If I add an additional email address (under Schedule --> Destination) for a particular report, hit the "update" button, the scheduled instance does not pick up the new address. Is there a way to do this without completely rescheduling the object?

I worked on Seagate Info 7.5 for so many years I had gathered all the tricks and workarounds. Now I need to start getting some new techniques for XI.

Consider APOS instance manager:

If you mean that you're doing this from the Schedule from the CMC for that report and seleting default email clients, I think that the instance is set up at the time of creation rather than dynamically updating afterwards.

Yes, it is via the CMC. Once scheduled, I can not see any way of updating that instance from the main Object, nor from the main report "code" itself. For example, if I add a column to the report, I cannot pick up the change using any refresh method from within CMC. I have to set up an entirely new object and schedule it.
Is this just the normal way that CR XI works???
