I am as green as you can be with CR.
when I create a parameter in a report that points to a table to be populated, when I refresh, it is only showing me the "A's" alphabetically. The table has about 8,000 entries in it, and it is sorted on name, and it is only retrieving the A's and not all of them. Is there some limit to how many values it will pull?
im using mysql 4.1 on a linux box, my CRXI is running on my W2K laptop, and I'm using odbc.

Hi,
A search of this forum shows that this may help:

Thanks, I tried to search on various keywords first, but I didnt find that one.

I went in and did change the registry setting. From 500 to 50,000.

It hasnt changed tho. I went back into regedit after a reboot and it was back at 500.

Changed it again and rebooted, still, back at 500.

Now, I just changed from 500 to 50,000, and have not rebooted, and started CR XI, and still, it only pulls the A's....

Any ideas?

Of course it sounds as though you're not saving the registry properly.

Perhaps you can try a 3rd party product, not sure why it wouldn't save unless you have some network/admin utility which rewrites/preserves it or some such...
