Hi ,

I have the following requirement.

Currently the report is used one ODBC connection for one source say DS1 but the same report required to use another ODBC connection for a different datasource say DS2 but both are SQL Server DBs for another fields to bring to the same report.

I have no idea what required to do to get the other 2nd ODBC connection for the same report.

Please help me out!!
Thanks a lot

A bit of a language barrier here.

Saying that you need to use a second source doesn't describe anything technical, are they to be joined, or is this a UNION type of addition, or?

Joins will be limited and performed locally, which means it will be slow, but you can just add in the second data source from the Crystal Database Expert GUI.

Or you might use a Command Object and paste in SQL, or the best solution would be to create a View or SP on SQL Server to do this.

Another common means is to use MS Access and LINK (not import) the datasources within and expose an Access query as the datasource.
