I am using CR XI and trying to link to MS Access 2003 via CR connection wizard. When I select my .mdb file, the CR connection wizard display error "Logon failed. DAO error code: 0xbd5. Not a valid account name or password".
My .mdb is not password protected.
Thanks for helping.

Don't know of a CR connection wizard, and just checked CR XI and didn't see one.

There's a database expert, and there's a report creation wizard. Where did you find this connection wizard?

Anyway, there are two common ways to link to an Access database:

Create New Connection->Database Files
or
ODBC

I have seen issues in the past when connecting to Access when the path required a specific user and password to access the folder, and I tend touse ODBC rather than the Database Files connection, so whatever one you are using, try the other.
