CR XI error

Hello everyone,

I use CR XI and when I start the new report wizard I want to connect to a database. When I try to connect to an ACCESS database I get the following: Logon failed - Details: Error Code: 0x800401f3

Can someone tell me what to do. I'm getting desperate now.

There many ways to connect to an Access database.

Which are you trying?

There is DAO, ODBC and Native connection options.

Use Create New Connection and select Database Files. If it asks for a login, post back which type of login, to access a drive or the database, it it doesn't ask, so state.

If that fails try setting up an ODBC connection to the database, if it works in ODBC, it should work fine in Crystal.
