CR XI - change date formart on Report Viewer

Hello

We have reports that are published on enterprise and accessed via web application and reports prompts for parameters and the format of date is 2009-01-01 (yyyy-mm-dd) and we would like to change the format to mm-dd-yyyy.

Can anyone know how it can be accomplished.
If you preview the reprot from enterprise it shows in yyyy-mm-dd, how can we change it to mm-dd-yyyy

You probably need to actually edit the report itself. I suspect that the parameter is actually in a string format which may or may not be converted when it's uses or that the default date field format in the report is set to yyyy-mm-dd.

the parameter type is date and when you run the report it will prompot you to enter the date for the parameter in the default format of yyyy-mm-dd, is there a way we can change this default format to mm-dd-yyyy?
