CR VB.NET to BOE XI R2 help

I am inquiring on what is involved to move a Crystal Report developed with VS2005 in ASP.NET 2.0 (VB), to a Business Objects Enterprise Server XI R2. The ASP.NET web application would need to be able to access the report and display the report to end users. We would use the built in functionality of VS2005, but management wants all Crystal Reports hosted on the Business Objects server. The developer can use any assembly they want in their project, the goal is to determine if it is possible to interface with a Crystal Report with out adding new assemblies to the GAC.
