Hi all:

I'm hoping this will be an easy one for the more experienced out there. I have a database that contains DateTime fields. I would like to only bring back records that occurred between certain times (07:00 and 15:00). I tried using the select expert but I don't know how to tell it to disregard the date portion of the field. Any ideas?

TIA!!!

pgtek,

Thanks for the assistance. I just figured this out myself. I created a formula field ?CTIME(Date/Time field) Then I created a time parameter field (range). I then selected the select expert and made my ?CTIME field equal to my paramater field.

Here is my next question. I have three time ranges I would like to group by on my report. 7:00AM - 3:00PM, 3:00PM - 11:00PM, and 11:00PM - 7:00AM. Currently the report is grouped by products. I would like to group by these three time ranges and then by products? Any more ideas? The help is greatly appreciated.

TIA!!!!
