CR formulas for beginners

For an initial review and introduction, the "Using Formulas" chapter, and the few chapters following it, in the Crystal online help are not a bad choice.
Also, consider purchasing Ken's book: "The Expert's Guide to Crystal Reports Formulas": While the title implies "Experts" Ken's book starts with the Basics.
