Aloha there!

I'm a novice to crystal reports, in fact, I just transfered into this position with no crystal reports training at all and am trying to create a specific type of report. I've learned a great deal through books and through this website so I have the basics down. So, without further ado, on to the question.

I created a report that provides a summery of sales for the last two years by month according to division. While this was good, it returned several pages of information. What I have been asked to do is to create a report that displays all the information on a single page so that they can cross-reference the information by division. So here's the problem, how can I take information that has been displayed in the details section (for example, $500 for the month of January, division 1) and place that number in the footer section in a pre-determined column? I tried to set up a variable that stores that single number but for some reason can't get the formula to display it correctly. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

You need to supply more information. What is your current group structure? Please provide a sample of your current report. Then also show us what you would like the final report to look like. I'm guessing you might want a crosstab with months going across and divisions going down.
