CR and Microsoft Active Directory (AD)

Can anyone provide any feedback on how well CR performs as a report writer against Microsoft Active Directory (AD) ?

For example, does CR have specific features to allow direct linking to AD ? Are there other features that are designed to interact with AD data ?

We were going to do a report against AD at one time (in fact I think I did a once run report against AD). Do not remember anything else.
