CR and Lotus Notes - crdb_p2snote.dll

When I open a "CR Reporting" in a Lotus Notes Database with my client, it is correctly opening the Reporting. I have installed the CR Software by myself on the Computer.

But when someone other in the company opens the Report from Lotus Notes, there is the folowing error message:

"Crystal Reports ActiveXDesigner: Failed to load database information.
Details: The database DLL crdb_p2snotes.dll could not be loaded"

When i search for the file, i find it on the same place as it is on my computer (i copied it into the folder).

What can i do?

Sounds like you may have installed CR logged in to the computer as yourself rather than the computer owner (Administrator), which likely would only set the application for your profile.

When the other user logs in, they may see the CR icon, but it is not set for them. They may need to simply run a quick install of CR on the machine themself

Or, uninstall and install as the Administrator so the app gets set for "All Users"

Colleagues of mine get a very similar error message (same dll file). I didn't install their Crystal Reports, it's done by a member of our IT team so possibly not as the specific user. If I uninstall and re-install whilst as the specific user, will this fix the problem, do you think?
