CR and Excel Integration

Can I used the excel data say ex. column A1:C1 and give this input (source) to CR (10) and generate the chart based on this data.

if yes, please suggest how
 
i think u can do it...
u can use excel as ur source for the report
by making new connection to that data source
navigation:
database expert>creat new connection>ms access/excel(dao)
 
If the data is already in Excel, then just use Excel, which has much better graphing features than Crystal IMHO.

But excel has limitation. Crystal reports can be used with ASP.Net.

I am working for a clinet who want to migrate VBA/Excel into crystal report so that it can be used with ASP.Net.

Any suggestion / guidance on how to proceed
 
An Excel spreadsheet can be used as as input dataset. You'd then have to select the data you wanted. Use SEARCH to get more details. You might also look at forum766
