CR 9 Alerts 1

Is posible to create custom alerts in CR v.9? (I know in v XI is)

What do you mean by alerts? Report alerts to show possibly a result set upon a condition?

yes. if you have sales>1000 for example, a window popup appears for that condition and asks you if you want to see those records.
We have installed CRXI but the application that runs the reports runs reports vers. 9. I have created a report with an alert but when I run it from the application is not showing the alert at all. I don't know from what version these custom alerts were introduced? In vXI in the menu I have Reports/Alerts/ Create or modify Alerts

Alerts are supported in Crystal 9 but in all versions of Crystal, they need to be implemented by the developer who is using the runtime components. Perhaps the "application" you are referring to, simply doesn't include the custom code necessary for the alert functionality.

There is at least one 3rd-party viewer application that I'm aware of that provides alert functionality. See list of viewers at:
