CR 8.5 Web Server...

We've been using the CR7 on our web server gor some time, and I have gotten used to the way it works. Now I'm starting to play around with version 8.5 to get the new functionality and flexibility, but I'm having some problems with this "APS" thing.

I looked through the web developer help file and it looks like this logging in to the APS is going to cause us some problems. We never had to worry about this with CR7 and it was great, we could just click on a URL that had the report requested without having to sign in. Is there any way to do that with CR8.5? Or at least an anonymous user? Or is there a way to bypass that?

The Web Component Server that you used in CR7 is still there in CR8.5/CE - It is just hidden (and improved).

You can still use:

http://server/folder/this.rpt

It is that CE has a whole lot of other ways to run reports as well. Use the method that you are used to. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
