CR 8.5 using OLE to MS SQL Server

I'm receiving a "Unable to connect to SQL Server NEW_IGO_SQL" error in CR attempting to OLE connect to MS SQL servers named "NEW_IGO_SQL" and/or "SQL-DEV", but am able to connect to at least two other servers, named "BARRYB" and "JEFFC". I'm thinking that there may be a restriction with server names with special characters ("_", "-&quot. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks.

I just successfully used the MS OLE Provider for SQL Server to connect to a server named with dashes (-) in the name, and one with a slash (/).
