CR 8.5 RDC/ VB6 Subreport does not populate past the 5th Subreport

I am passing ADO recordsets to populate 10 subreports to the CRViewer. Only the first 5 reports report with data while the rest of the subreports display only column headers without data. I am using the CRAXDRT object and passing the RS with SetDataSource RS,3. The first 5 subreports display fine with or without using the TTX file method. Are there limitations to number of subreports that can be processed or is there a setting that needs to be changed?
