With the new (and expensive) changes in licensing for Crystal Reports 8.5, is there a way to create an "idle" disconnect in a report that will kick a user out (and thus free up a license) after a certain period of time?

If you are using IIS you can set the idle session state to a set number of minutes. If the user does nothing with the browser for X minutes it will destroy all sessions for that user. Thus freeing up your license.

here try this
'Destroyed object session and licence count decremented

'set Session("oApp") = nothing
'if isobject(session("oPageEngine")) then
' set session("oPageEngine")) = nothing
'End If
'if isobject(session("oRpt")) then
' set session("oRpt")) = nothing
'End If
