CR 2008: Error Access Denied. You cannot log in 1

I am trying connecting universe using crystal report 2008 and getting error Access Denied. You cannot log in to an older version of CMS.
I am using Business Objects XI 2.0.

Is anyone knows why?

I think the "Universe Connection" method for CRYSTAL REPORTS 2008 requires you to connect to RELEASE 3.0 Universes only.

If you want to connect to a RELEASE 2 Universe, you need to run CRYSTAL REPORTS XI (R2).
