Hello, I added a date parameter and added it to the select expert and when i run the report the default prompt puts the default value in the form mm/dd/yyyy but I need it to show up as yyyy/mm/dd... Anyone have any clue how to change the format of the prompt parameter display?

Thanks,

Jason

I have crystal 9 so I'm not sure if the steps are the same but select the parameter that is on the report, right click, Format Field, customize, under Order select YMD and under Format, change the month and day so it will show 2 numbers for the month (i.e. 03 instead of 3 for March).

You can also change the default for anything else you may add, using File > Options [Fields]. This won't change anything that's already placed.

Thanks for the replies, however; I was actually talking about the parameter popup (Crystal Reports 2008 - v12 SP1) where you enter the actual values of the parameter (there's also a date picker there but i have a textbox so users can enter their own dates)... They show up as mm/dd/yyyy but I need it to display yyyy/mm/dd. I popped the actual parameters onto the report and the format of the parameters are actually yyyy/mm/dd... any clue how to change the parameter popup values?

Thanks,

Jason
