I have an old AMD k6 2 500 cpu which I had installed on an old motherboard. I had set frequency at 95 x5 = 475MHZ. Since the CPU is a 500 it should handle this speed. When I did a cpu check it says its running at 428 MHZ and says its maxium is 300 MHZ? Question is how can I do test on the CPU that will tell me the correct speed of multiplier and frequency (bus). thanks
