CPU Temperature Measurement?

Are there programs that run constantly from bootup that allow a check on CPU temp? I saw a post that said check into the BIOS at bootup, but that seems a clumsy way to do it, especially since I reboot once a month if that often (W2k).

If so any recommendations? TIA

Depends on if your motherboard will support such software?? and/or if it has the necessary thermal sensor installed to take such temperature readings?
Your moby manufacturer may have a free hardware monitoring download and supply you with the rellevant

I use Sisoft Sandra. This is the download site:

It's approximatly 2Meg. and includes a swack of benchmark and diagnostic utilities.
