Hello guys!
Why my computer is slowing up when running my movie? (it's size is note very large! 120kb) ???

What are you doing in your movie? These things stress the processor more than most (all are slower in the Flash 5 player than the Flash 6 player):

Parsing XML
_alpha tweens/scripts
strokes/lines
gradient fills

Flash Player 6 certainly handles things like XML better abd is better all round on Mac than 5 was. But if you've got loads of things moving then you're going to hit the processor hard. There are ways to minimise the impact if you're careful about how you put your movie together.

Depends how big your "bunch" is but generally speaking the more that's going on at one time the more your CPU is being hit - a certain drop off in frame rate is inevitable. How many separate items are you animating and what do they each do?

the menu, the central movie clip, and a bottom animation(every item appearance is animated) ...like 2advanced...but i don't have a "bunch" that largs as their ...and when i run 2advanced everything works fine...

Maybe is because i run my movie from flash...it is not on line.

Yes that's me!
How are you?

i have discussed this problem with you .
My computer is an amd at 900mghz and 128 ram....i think it's quite enough but my movie is killing the cpu...thing that didn't happen with none of the flash sites i've "visited".

You know what contains my movie...is that too much?

Well, as I said to you, you have a lot more going in that file than in your other sites! Also the size at which you have designed this is certainely not going to help! Are you only testing this within the application or have you tried outside of it with just the Flash player. Better performance in that case? Regards,

Don't run other applications at the same time and try it with the player, it should be at least somewhat better! Regards,
